BUSINESS INTERRUPTION
We have handled many business interruption claims for large and small commercial businesses. We are able to produce calculations that adhere to the policy forms (Gross Profit, Actual Loss Sustained and Profit Forms), which can be completed competitive rates compared to accounting firms.
HEAVY EQUIPMENT
We have serviced the industry’s logging claims with certified Heavy Equipment Appraising since 1995 offering experience in all aspects of logging equipment. As with any adjustment, the quantification of the loss is only one aspect that contributes to the overall cost of the claim. To this end, our adjusting/appraising staff have also developed a large base of qualified salvage purchasers to maximize the return on salvage and mitigate our Principals' overall exposure. Timing is crucial to maximize a return on equipment losses. Different times of the year may command superior return on salvage from a claim. We have therefore negotiated free storage with many facilities that deal in this area.
AUTO
We have a certified appraiser that provides auto appraising with detailed repair estimates.
LIABILITY AND BODILY INJURY
Your defence is only as good as the investigation on which it based. This in turn requires a clear understanding of the issues at law before the evidence is lost. We work with our Principals to identify these issues and provide a clear line of investigation at the outset to examine all avenues of mitigation that factor into liability and quantification of damages from property losses to catastrophic bodily injury.
WILDFIRE INVESTIGATION
BC Adjustment Corporation has on-staff adjusters well-versed with investigation of claims involving the Wildfire Act and Wildfire Regulations.
APPRAISING SERVICES
We offer a full range of appraising services on heavy equipment, recreational vehicles and automobiles.
LONG HAUL TRUCKING
As with our Heavy Equipment field, we are fully versed in all aspects of semi tractor trailer appraising and salvage disposal.
RECREATIONAL AND MARINE
With Salmon Arm being the hub of many recreational boaters, we have developed this aspect of our appraising and adjusting over the years.
